Everyone knows RAs are the best gluers, tapers, and paper cutters. However we do enjoy anything to make our lives easier. Hence our love/hate relationship with the dye-cut press.
Depending on how old the press is can make it more hate than love. Those who have used it know it is a real art. I proudly snapchatted this to all my fellow RAs. No I did not just use random letters. I was spelling out Daily Match Up for my MarchHare MadHatterness Board. And yes I did fit the U in there too!
So thanks to my lovely mother I have access to this beautiful thing called a Cricut. You have the machine, you put in a cartridge and change the keyboard. Load the paper, press the buttons and away you go. This was one way I was able to mass cut door decs. (I have noted in the posts when I use it). You can make it simple single colors like the dog at the top. Or you can make them all sorts of complicated by using many colors. For my Duty Board this year I cut out all my Staff Members choices in Toy Story Characters. So many little pieces...So many sticky fingers.
Here they are Now...
I also added an eyelet somewhere on each so they could be tacked to a board without hurting them.
