So I am not Ms. Fashionista by any extent. However on Pinterest I saw cute fashion inforgraphics for stripes, laundry, bras, necklaces, shoes, and closet organization. Funniest thing was they all came from the same Buzzfeed article. So me dreaming big I threw it all into one board and this is what I got.
The Laundry post had blown up versions of all those weird laundry symbols you see on your clothes tags. They were actually really helpful so I put them on black butcher block when I took the board down and hung it up in the laundry room.
What the Heel was the first title I came up with even though this was the third infographic I tackled. Unlike the one from the post I categorized the shoes by parts. So there might have been round toe sling back wedges, but I wasn't drawing 50 pairs of shoes. However what the heel did get the ball rolling for some of these other names.
Rights after I tackled the laundry symbols this was the first one I did. Instead of drawing 6 different necks I thought it better to compile them so one could compare the different lengths. I also started sticking to color themes in each poster. Laundry was neon, what the heel was warm colors, does your chain hang low (this one) was cool colors.
Hakuna Your Tatas was a cute phrase I saw on a tumblr post on Pinterest about different ways to say calm your tits. I wanted to do this poster because bras can be confusing. The tag says it is t-shirt but what does that mean and how is it different than all the others? Well now this board can tell you.
P.S. the color scheme was purple and green
I am back to the warm colors with That's a Closetful. This was by far the hardest name. I tried dozens and people suggested a bunch, but I did not want anything to offensive with the closet. It is about organizing though so I am glad with what I came up with.
By far my favorite name. Especially because I accidentally did the e in yellow so from far away it looks exactly how you think it would. This infographic also had A TON of different stripes but I tried to pick ones I thought were most common or that I had seen a lot.
