February Door Dec Year 1

OH. My Gosh. This Door Dec...

I used the Cricut to cut 50 of each colored ring. "Taylor," you ask, "why 50?" Well I decided to do the whole floor because apparently I am crazy.

The O's then got glued together and they had to be in the right order. Then I backed the lower rings with white (it is harder than t sounds). I used black n silver sharpie to write the names and the year (the Olympics only happen every two years). I looked up facts for each resident. My music students got ones about the Olympic theme. My history resident got one about the Olympics during War Times. I personalized each fact to each girl. I then made a space for them to put a favorite part of the Olympics.

Why did I make such an insane door dec? Because I was wondering if I could break 3 points. Almost all of my door decs (minus the first, December, March, and May (and that was all intentionally less)) got 3's. So I went above and beyond to try and get a 4. Little did I know it was an unspoken rule that door decs should not get higher than a 3. They still kick butt and I still made points so whatever.
